Product Design Lead
Lead end-to-end design strategy for mobile apps and web platforms at Vulcan Labs, a leading mobile application development company. Drive user research, build design systems, and mentor a team of UI/UX designers while shaping product experience aligned with global AI trends.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end design strategy for mobile apps and web platforms with a strong focus on user experience and business impact.
Translate user insights, data, and product goals into clear design directions and solutions.
Define and shape product experience vision aligned with global market trends (especially in AI products).
Drive user research initiatives (qualitative & quantitative) to uncover user needs and behaviors.
Continuously analyze user journeys, identify pain points, and propose data-driven improvements.
Collaborate with Product and Marketing to optimize conversion funnels and retention.
Develop, manage and collaborate with the Product and Developer teams to ensure that the Design System adapts to the growth of the product.
Oversee and ensure high-quality UI/UX deliverables across all products.
Explore and apply new design approaches to improve product performance, not just aesthetics.
Lead, mentor, and grow a team of UI/UX designers.
Define team goals, manage workload, and ensure timely delivery of projects.
Build a strong design culture with continuous learning, feedback, and innovation.
Work closely with Product Owners, Developers, and Marketing teams to align on product direction.
Support development teams during implementation to ensure design quality and consistency.
What We're Looking For
4–6+ years of experience in UI/UX Design, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership role.
Strong experience in mobile app design (iOS, Android) and responsive web design.
Solid understanding of user research, usability testing, and data-driven design.
Proven ability to build and scale design systems.
Proficiency in tools such as Figma, FigJam, Adobe Suite, Protopie, or equivalent.
Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and product thinking.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Nice To Have
Experience working on global products or high-scale apps.
Exposure to AI-related products or emerging technologies.
Understanding of motion design or interaction design.
